Arlington, VA (February 16, 2016) – The second annual HX360 event features a comprehensive program that delivers the unique perspectives, experiences and innovations of cutting-edge C-suite executives, business leaders, technology companies and investors. HX360 takes place February 29 to March 3, 2016, in conjunction with HIMSS16 Conference and Exhibition, at the Venetian-Palazzo, Sands Expo and Convention Center, Las Vegas.
A jam-packed agenda includes sessions, keynotes and debate covering relevant business topics, including building and sustaining innovation capacity to address contemporary provider challenges; new business models to accelerate innovation; scaling health technology adoption; and how to design connected health programs for consumers. Addressing the real needs, challenges and gaps in patient care, Nancy Brown, CEO, American Heart Association, will provide the patient perspective on the health tech revolution that is being fueled by trackers, wearables and apps. A panel session, moderated by Jeff Makowka, director, marketing innovation, AARP, will examine how technology can support aging independently, rehabilitation, home care support and family caregiving. Closing remarks and special presentation by Susannah Fox, Chief Technology Officer, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, will explore the value of open data for utilization by private-sector innovators and entrepreneurs to impact health and health care.
