ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Negative stories abound in the healthcare industry, but a new national awareness campaign is giving voice to the individuals, healthcare facilities, and new medical technologies that are driving positive change.
The I Am Changing Healthcare awareness campaign will launch Tuesday, February 12 at the HIMSS2019 Conference in Orlando, FL.
Campaign sponsor Intelligent Contacts is inviting attendees to come by its booth and share a healthcare problem they or their organization solves.
HIMSS2019, the massive health information and tech conference, will keep the over 45,000 attendees busy, but the campaign organizers will make it easy to participate with a quick stop by Booth 7279 to record a short video message.
Organizations or individuals not interested in being part of the official 2019 campaign, can still take part by sharing their stories on social media using #IAmChangingHealthcare.
"The goal is to flood social media with the unique stories of individuals, organizations, and technology that are making a difference in the lives of people today," said Jeff Mains, CEO of Intelligent Contacts.
"The idea behind the I Am Changing Healthcare campaign emerged out of a series of conversations with some of our clients about the consumerization of healthcare," said Mains.
"We realized people no longer separate their patient experience from their consumer experience when evaluating quality of care," said Mains.
Whether it's saving lives with innovations in treatment, money through choice and transparency, or time with frictionless communication and payment options, healthcare has a lot of good news to share.
Some of the stories captured during the launch of the I Am Changing Healthcare initiative will be featured throughout 2019 in a national awareness campaign.
