BOSTON, March 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- American Well, the national telehealth leader, announced today that Bill Conway will join its executive leadership team as general manager of provider solutions, reporting to Chairman and CEO Ido Schoenberg. Conway brings with him over 30 years of healthcare industry experience, with a specific focus on driving adoption of disruptive solutions.

Prior to joining American Well, Conway served as senior vice president at athenahealth with responsibility for sales, account management, onboarding services, channel management and market strategy. In an earlier role as vice president of small group sales, he reimagined the sales approach to dramatically accelerate national adoption of athenahealth's software with independent physician groups.
Before this, Conway was regional vice president of sales for Allscripts Corporation and also spent 13 years at IDX Systems Corporation where he held a variety of roles.
