ATLANTA, March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- IHRC is pleased to announce its attendance at HIMSS 2018, which will take place at the Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. IHRC will introduce Fhirbird, a next-generation data exchange and messaging platform, and host live demonstrations March 5-8, 2018 in Booth 26 of the HIMSS Innovation Live showcase. Additionally, on March 7, 2018 at 3:30 PM, IHRC will present Fhirbird in the Innovation Live Theater.
Fhirbird provides secure, reliable, and rapid transport of messages, data, and actionable content within organizations, or over the Internet between and among message exchange partners and their data platforms and devices. Fhirbird can be Cloud-based or locally installed, is device independent, and uses HTTP to transmit any data payload type, regardless of its protocol.
Strong encryption protects data while at rest and during transmission, monitors ongoing delivery, and provides real-time reporting. Fhirbird mitigates risk by producing an auditable record of message delivery. Fhirbird's patent-pending connection pooling reduces latency, enabling extremely fast delivery.
Fhirbird uses another patent-pending feature, the API Bridge, to support interoperability between previously incompatible systems. Using the Fhirbird API Bridge and API Hooks, organizations can connect these systems and translate data formats from existing systems to new systems. These features enable affordable, staged transition from monolithic legacy systems to a microservices architecture that assembles best-of-breed, third party, and custom applications. Fhirbird is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2018.
